Continental Airlines Launches 'Continental International Restaurant Week'

NEW YORK, April 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL - News) today announced the launch of Continental International Restaurant Week (continentalrestaurantweek.com ) to be held in New York City from April 30-May 6, 2007, featuring eight of Zagat Survey's Top Rated restaurants.

Each restaurant represents international destinations known for their exquisite cuisine. "This is an exciting way to experience a variety of international cuisines all in one place," said Tim Zagat, CEO of Zagat Survey, "These restaurants are a reflection of the unique and diverse dining scene in New York."

The below top-notch restaurants are providing exclusive offers ranging from special tasting menus to personalized chef recommendations to priority reservations:

  • Tabla (India): Indulge in a special tasting menu featuring some of the finest dishes at Tabla. Talk with Chef Floyd Cardoz or the General Manager about the dining philosophy at Tabla. Receive a signed copy of Chef Cardoz's "One Spice. Two Spice." cookbook.
  • Porcao Churrascuria (Brazil): Learn how to make a traditional Brazilian Capirinha and enjoy a complimentary Capirinha tasting (Passion Fruit, Strawberry, Lime, Coconut). A special Zagat Survey 2007 International Destinations Guide will be distributed during Continental International Restaurant Week at participating restaurants.
