Ai Builds Intranet For Pepperidge Farm

Easy to use interface is the key to implementation of "Project Harmony", which will transform the way Pepperidge Farm does business.

"Harmony Central" is an intranet designed and developed by Alexander Interactive to disseminate information to Pepperidge Farm employees about the implementation of SAP – a major strategic investment for the Company – which will help all Campbells Soup business units automate and integrate business processes, share data and access information in real time through a common software platform. The Harmony Central portal features latest news about the SAP implementation, profiles of team members involved in the effort, responses to FAQ from employees, and provides a library of relevant documents and schedules for training events.

Among other highlights is an intuitive site architecture creating an easy to use, informative and engaging user experience. On the content management side, a simple administration tool allows for the creation of new pages that, when marked to be "featured", automatically create touts on other areas of the site to build awareness about that item. These robust capabilities can easily and successfully be used by anyone without Web coding experience.

Since its launch, another Pepperidge Farm business unit was keen to take advantage of this platform, and Ai was hired to replace the content management system and admin interface for PFSDA.com. PFSDA.com is another portal that was built to support the activities of their sales development associates.
