International Video Star Mayor Jack Reynolds Is A SxSW Finalist
Joins esteemed company at noted event
Mayor Jack Reynolds, the international video star known for his appearances in The Hogfather, Super Fudge and Jaws, has been selected as a finalist in the 2010 SxSW Web Awards.
Presented by Adobe, the awards are announced March 14 at a ceremony in Austin, Tex.
Jack's website is nominated in the Amusement category: "Humor, memes and all the stuff that is weird for the sake of weird."
The site, which went live in 2009, celebrates Jack's history in film and his presence as an online superstar of the first order. More than a dozen videos are accompanied by countless photos and albums dating back to the early days of the Web 2.0 social media boom.
Jack's fans can download desktop wallpapers and instant messaging buddy icons from the site. The site provides robust social media links to Jack's Twitter feed, Facebook fan page and LinkedIn profile. (When not on set, Jack is Ai's VP of Security and Integrity.)
In addition to Jack's nomination, the site is also eligible for a People's Choice award. Please show your support by voting for Jack between now and March 14.
