Every responsible pharmaceutical knows that educating a consumer about their condition is essential to keeping them in good health. Pfizer honors this commitment with constantly creating new learning materials about the conditions their drugs help to treat.
Pfizer needed a way to reach active seniors suffering from arthritis pain. For this audience, a website is the perfect vehicle to illustrate what arthritis is, various types of joint pain, what causes it and what they can do about it.
We worked closely with the brand team of Celebrex, the popular arthritis drug, to create an informative and engaging website to address all these needs, providing a service to both the patients and their doctors who can point them to reliable sources of information.
The site was meticulously designed to be easy for the senior audience to find information they’re looking for, and presented in a way that is clear, concise and simple to remember:
- Intuitive navigation and layout with larger fonts
- Functionality such as “print page” and “sign up for e–newsletter” that worked with the way their consumers used websites
- Animated illustrations of joint movements and what happens to cause the joint pain
- Unprecedented partnership with Johns Hopkins for “expert” content for reinforcing credibility
The redesigned site serves as an information gateway between Pfizer and its consumers to provide current medical information on the prescription medication.
