Haute Water Work

City Aquarium, a premiere designer of custom, high’end, site’specific marine and freshwater aquariums needed a way to showcase their work and to reach prospective customers. Additionally, it was important for City Aquarium to communicate what the experience of working with them would be like for someone looking to create a custom aquarium.

The concept was clear – create a visually stunning website extending City Aquarium–s mission to “create architectural water features that are works of art.”

We were able to leverage the extraordinary photographs from City Aquarium–s portfolio and create an online experience that parallels the feel of creating aquatic environments:

  • Fluid home page imagery featuring City Aquarium–s work
  • Clean, light visual design to emote an aquatic feel
  • Step’by’step storytelling with images in case studies to show how award’winning aquariums are put together

The result – more inquiries for custom aquarium work through their new website than any other source.
