Lester’s is a neighborhood store that’s been family-owned since 1947. Their catalogue trends today’s hottest styles—hand selected by their army of seasoned fashion experts and buyers. And their personal attention keeps devoted New York shoppers coming back for generations. But what Lester’s needed was a website where people across the globe could find that same charm and high fashion. The store is fun, funky, chic, and friendly, and although the online brand needed to be defined from the ground up, their history gave us a great starting place.
Changing the Transaction
For the first time, Lester’s was made available—not just to Long Island or New York-- but to everyone, anywhere in the world. But since online commerce is brand new for the decades old store, Ai worked with them to sew together an internal team to capture online sales and manage shipments. We helped them realize new digital business practices, and how to optimize the digital customer experience. Essentially, AI helped build an entirely new business unit for Lester’s that maximizes the client’s new digital space, and allows their customers to shop the fun, personalized experience of in-store, online.
